Good Deeds Do Not Go Unanswered – The Creation of the Good Deed Tag

Yesterday I was sitting at a bus stop, among many others, surrounded by piles of rubbish. I wanted so badly to pick it all up and put it in the bin but I worried of others judgement of me. I spent 5 minutes debating with myself and then made my move. Avoiding the eyes of others, I began to pick up the rubbish and move it into the bin. Soon, others began to join me and I noticed smiles beginning to form. I only wish that I had been faster to act and that someone else would of had the courage to do so much earlier in the day.

I have decided to challenge myself to do at least one good deed per day and share them with you all near the end of the week. I’ve seen how messed up our world is and I hope, that just by doing one small thing everyday, I am able to bring about a small bit of change in people’s lives.

I encourage you all to join my and email me your experiences at 7rosemoore@gmail.com so that I can share them on my blog. 🙂

I would like to turn this into a tag as a way to get more people involved so to start off I will tag myself at my poetry blog in an attempt to gain a greater audience. However, if you are reading this post, consider yourself tagged and help spread the word.

The Good Deed Tag:

Feel free to remake the graphic, cause I know it sucks 🙂

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person that tagged you
  2. Explain what it is about
  3. Display the rules
  4. Explain your good deed that you did
  5. Nominate others to share the word

If only some of us do this, it will still be better than none of us doing so. I love you all and hope that we can spread our love towards people that need it the most.

Thanks for listening and until next time,

xx

16.2.19

Happy weekend (well for some of us)!

Daily entry:

I started today off with a three hour dance class and I’ve headed home and ate lunch. I’v made a start on my homework but I’m absolutely exhausted and starting to slow down. I don’t know whether to stop and have a rest or to continue at a decreased productivity.

Earlier today, I watched a really motivational video on stretching and there were some very motivational comments. This video has given me the strength to start stretching again (video link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VS6jgTTYAQ ). I have decided to stretch at least 3 times a week and attempt to make it the whole year. Will keep you guys updated.

To do today:

  • Complete 3.5, 3.8, 3.9 in biology workbook (done 3.5 and 3.9)
  • Make notes on biology presentation (done)
  • Start English homework task
  • Finish any math homework

Other:

There will be some more blog posts coming soon that are not diary entries so stay tuned. Also, my instagram account will be up and running in the next

Love you all,

xx

12.1.19

Hey guys,

Thank you for all the love and support. I am trying to find a layout for my diary type posts so be prepared for them to be a bit stuffed up for now. The purpose of this is to ensure that I am attempting to maximise the potential in my day and most often, I will come back and edit the post the next day to show what I managed to achieve.

Daily entry:

Today was a mess. Australia is so hot and it being 37 degrees and having no fans is not a help in the slightest. Classes were decent today, however, my exhaustion is reaching new levels and I have to try my hardest to stay awake. This decreases my overall productivity as half my brain is just trying to keep me awake. This afternoon I have training (for surf life saving) and I have so much work that I need to get through. It’s a real struggle. With relatives over at the moment, it is hard for me to get any peace and I find myself snapping over the smallest things.

To do today:

  • Training manual
  • Take notes on history
  • Complete math questions (done)
  • English notes
  • English questions 1-45

Update:

This post is being posted a day late as I forgot to post it yesterday :).

Love you all,

Will post more later today (hopefully).

xx

Motivationless

Hi,

You may know me from the Tale of an Unlikely Warrior (https://thetaleofanunlikelywarrior.wordpress.com/ ), but if you don’t, welcome. This blog is just going to be me trying to find the motivation and persistence to do well and succeed.

Ever since the start of high school, I seem to have lost motivation and drive. My grades (although good) are slipping and I know that my full potential is not being changed. However, I am not actively attempting to change this in anyway. I procrastinate, leave things to the last minute and get upset when my marks aren’t up to stand.
